My favorite childhood memory is one family vacation to Honolulu. Shaved ice and hot surfer boys and getting stung by weird sea creatures and all my brothers and sisters as kids before any of us grew up.
Summer summer. All my summers in California were fabulous growing up. But probably my favorite memories were trips to the Santa Cruz boardwalk. Loved that my dad went on all the rides that I wanted to go on. Loved being at the beach. Loved the beautiful drive.
I think I broke a bone every summer from ages 3-18 but my favorite way to break them was extreme trampoline jumps. One summer my neighbor and I set up jumps over the fence in our back yard and then off of his balcony. It was worth it.

Probably just snow cones and kong cones from Maceys. Maybe also tubing down the river!
